What are you watching? The Official TV Show Thread

I finished this last month

I see why people were addicted to the show, it was great. The cliffhangers makes me want to watch 6 episodes a night. I watched 2 episodes a night until about the last 4 episodes. Season 6 when it all wrapped up, it was wild

Wow, that good? The first season got mixed reviews, but noticed the second season got GREAT reviews. Might need to check it out.
I'm a science fiction fan and as far as science fiction goes this hits a lot of marks for me. The first season was hard to follow and confusing at times but the math starts mathing in season 2.
Will be interesting to see how they pull off future seasons after things we learned but they probably need 5 or 6 seasons to get it done. I'm just hoping Apple has the stomach to keep up. Show is probably way more expensive than it's worth.

If you're a sci-fi fan Apple got the juice rn.

Just finished season 2 it's easily the best series I have watched this year and I'm confident putting it as my number 1 spot

It's already a classic. I might re read the book over Xmas

Can you give me a synopsis? I watched the first episode but it didn't grab me. What in your opinion makes it a classic?

Pachinko is an immigration story over four generations. It starts during Japan's occupation of Korea. It explores themes of identity and belonging in the face of discrimination and hardship. For me, it portrays the immigrant experience really well it may not be the same for everyone, but there's always the weight of culture and the constant questioning of identity. The show also highlights how older generations struggle to make life easier for their children, yet they often don't get to really live. The older I get the more that hits me seeing my mum
