I've only beaten the first two and re2 is still one of my favorite games ever

I can't remember what I used to get past puzzles back then but they were pretty good games

Because people were so in love with Resident Evil 4….which is a beautiful game that I don’t like. The remake was cool but it ultimately, the OG 4 changed the series from survivor horror to action.

I just finished 4 that narrative has to change yes it was more action oriented but it still has horror elements so far ( playing Chris campaign) this shit is just silly and these Asian crab monsters feel racist but they made the game

Horror elements? Can’t argue with you there. There’s definitely horror elements there. But survival horror, which is the house that the fuckin series built, was gone.

the only tension in resident evil 4 is managing Ashley or early on with the chainsaw shit. Other than that, there’s no fear of running out of ammo. You can just buy shit from the merchant. You don’t have to cautiously enter rooms because of what may lie ahead because enemies more or less announced themselves with all the talking…and more often than not, they run towards you. They took out the survival horror aspect of Resident Evil until 7 and quickly transformed the series, starting from 4 and on into action movie games with zombies

Maybe I’m just trash at resident evil games even tho I’m a huge fan because a few bosses came down to my last bullet had to knife fight a few zombies in my recent run.
 
RE 2 remake had my anxiety sky high with Mr X and his footsteps. You hear that shit constantly and don't know where they coming from. You round a corner and that thing right in your face. I'm going to hit up RE 3 remake over the weekend.
