I missed the mark with the salmon. Im not gonna slow smoke salmon anymore. Im gonna stick with grilling on higher heat

yeah its too delicate for slow smoking....takes on way too much smoke

salmon needs like 30 mins over 350-375

i made the same mistake when I started smoking chicken......had em out there all day at 225 lookin sexy as hell, went to bite one and it was straight rubber

What went wrong? Didnt have the flavour you wanted or what?

I still need to try cooking salmon on some wood planks
I should have taken them out earlier. The third time I opened to check, it had a reading of 132-135, which is perfect for me. But I went by the recommend temp, which says 145 degrees. So I put it back in for like 10mins. Kind of dried out.

I have the below type of grill. If im fast cooking, I would put the fuel in the main body. If im slow cooking/smoking, I put the fuel in the smoker box 20201102_094930_HDR.jpg
