Iol, I slightly remember that thread. But I learned this from experience, lol. Years ago, me and a friend were waiting on line to get into this speak easy bar. There was a female and her friend waiting behind us. We were vibing and we all exchanged numbers. Called her days later to see if she wanted to met up some day for some food and drinks. I never mentioned it was a date because I assumed she knew it was. We had our meal and had convo. I call her sometime after to see if she wanted to meet up. That is when she asked if that was a date. I said yeah. But she wasnt looking for anything serious at the time.

Learned my lesson and from then on, I ask straight up. "Would you like to go out on a date?" Or something on those lines. My female friend said the same thing. She said if the dude doesnt mention a date, she will think they are just meeting up on some friendship type of thing.

In the video, she said they drove separate cars. She had a friend with her and he had several friends with him. He came in town but from how she was telling it, he wasnt in town just for her. She called it a date in the beginning of the video. That is not a date.
