I remember when Gucci performed in Macon back in 2012. Although, he only performed a couple of lines but the crowd was rapping the Truth line by line at the show

Regardless of anything Jeezy and Gucci 2 of my favorite trap artist and jammed the hell out of both. Both had a crazy movement, just give Gucci the win because he stayed on Jeezy neck until alot of his fans turned on him and became a fan of Jeezy. Gucci pretty much had the whole south scene in a headlock, I remember a girl I was talking to in Sippi was at her college walking around and all I could hear was Gucci songs being rapped word for word I asked her damn yall messing with Gucci like that over there and she was like yeah thats all you hear.

If this is commercial hit for hit, ogcourse Jeezy going to win, not much was commercial about Gucci but his hits in the clubs and streets was almost like having commercial hits.

Oh I cant speak for Atlanta but I know in Mississippi, Jeezy way more revered and it was a whole movement.. I aint ever seen shit like that.. That same movement your speaking of is probably the same 05-07. Gucci bubbled after 08 big time. The initial Jeezy movement was a big thing, my high-school was fucking going crazy to Trap or Die tape and all that with the Snowman shirts.

Gucci has had more mainstream hits in the last decade. Any top 40 club will have more gucci songs (featured or not) playing simply bc of that.
