Vanessa is trying to rewrite history with this. Even back in 2015 when the Miss America Pageant apologized to her, while she was doing TONS of interviews, she never once said a thing about colorism issues/backlash from Black people. But she always pointed out the racism/death threats from whites.

That's not because she shut her mouth about the latter party for 40 years it made her traumatic experience less harmful or true for either.
We all know how African American gossipers acts against light skinned sisters... heck, we just all know how African American gossipers acts against every successful brother or sister. And what I used to hear from people here in Canada or from France and Belgium onlime weren't better. Why do you think the likes of Yannick Noah and Omar Sy used to shut up for very long about black community issues??
