I can understand some folks saying it isn't the greatest show of all time but it is definitely top 5 to come out in the last like 10 to 20 years.

The newspaper was just tracking the story and the cops response to what they thought at the time was an actual serial killer who was preying on the homeless
Scott, who was out there fabricating stories was an integral part of that season b/c it showed the lengths that reporters will go through in order to get an article picked up by a larger platform or to launch a career in journalism
this why i cant have a serious discussion about this show with you b/c you dont see anything past the surface
