They certainly are, and Trump and republicans know it. Why else would Trump be so cruel to Americans? Cause he knew if it got so bad Democrats would cave. This time though the people were behind them and they still caved, smh.

They play this game where they select a few democrats that aren’t up for reelection or are retiring to break the line. Then the others, like Schumer, act like they had nothing to do with it to save face. Which is why Schumer has to go. Democrats need somebody like Pelosi was in the house or how Trump is with republicans that will strong arm compliance. A promise to primary is a strong motivator.
