COMMUNITY United States Politics Thread: Trump's Second Term

We've been slow rolling for decades and we are as unprepared as we've ever been.

I think you're talking about the purchasing power of the USD in the U.S. That has been declining over decades. What I'm talking about is how it compares globally. That has been more up and down, and it was actually on and upward swing under Biden and the strongest it had been in decades. It standing compared to other currencies like the Yuan has taken a nosedive under Trump now.

I'd argue we wouldn't be where we are today concerning Iran without Biden and co supporting, arming and funding the Gaza genocide followed by their antagonizing all Iranian proxies.

You could argue that, but I'd say you were wrong. Biden's support for the genocide was disgusting and problematic, but I don't believe Netanyahu would have pulled this same thing under Biden. Trump gave the go ahead. Everyone on the Dem side is against that.

"I will vote
for Donald Trump."

Hey... @ChicagoFigure... don't mistake my LOLs as support. I just want you to keep showing us who you are. Ol' neckbeard ass "well... actually" "both sides" "do your own research" ass motherfucker.

One day you're gonna educate us about the shit we see with our own eyes. Just keep trying.
Don't worried I figured u had one too many to drink again

The dollar in comparison to other currencies is still near a 10 yr all time high even after Trump's bullshit. It's status as a reserve currency isn't threatened, yet. While the purchasing power is def a factor I think the greater concern is the national debt.

"Everyone on the Dem side is against that" is clearly a false statement.

Can you name some Democrat politicians that support going to war with Iran? I haven't seen any come out and take that stance.

Supporting Israel’s actions against Iran is a lot different than advocating for direct US attacks against Iran. You could say they’re implying they’re for that, but that would be an assumption. And an assumption you may be right about, but an assumption nonetheless.

This post is a prime example of why I say both sides are the same. You are allowing your bias to betray your intelligence.

AIPAC literally unseats mfs they don't like and replaces them with politicians who will support them. On both sides.

They know what attacking Iran might escalate to (US involvement) and they made those statements being well aware of that fact.

We don't agree on most things but to add on to what you typed...
