COMMUNITY United States Politics Thread: Trump's Second Term

Disgusting.

And yet you have @Knock_Twice and Disanthrocoon saying that Republicans are more likely to support reparations.

Smh.

Let's go with this and say this happens
You do know the democrats won't ever win again lol..

Black folks even more will not vote ever
They need us to vote
Remember that 2% that Tariq Cult...the grassroots..you really think they will be eager to vote if this happens?
Lol.

Yall Dems in trouble lmao

Why Kamala and Biden to put it on motion when they took office??

The Dems will be blamed and you'll never get another W in ANY race and there will be the end of everything.

Most democrats are probably afraid that passing reparations legislation will hurt the party for decades to come. Some might be concerned about the cost too.

But Republicans are adamantly, passionately against reparations in principle. Big difference.

Yep.
Name a time when a dem introduced a bill to the floor

I can give you a time when a rep introduce a bill to the floor

Do you think black ppl will race to the polls for the dems?

bottle-to.gif

Black ppl really won't be at them polls if that happens smh.

Clean sweep..and more dems will flip to rep.

Dayum you Biden and Kamala...had a chance to do right..
Should have led wit it

Just like i thought.
A rep introduced the reparation bill on the floor on Cali last year

Your turn

Even if that is true, it doesn't matter if you can find a Republican who did that. The question is which party is more likely to pass reparations legislation. No one representative can pass legislation.

Let me ask you this.

Let's say that both Republicans and Democrats are against reparations (though not necessarily for the same reasons).

In addition, suppose that Republicans also want to repeal the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965. (Democrats are against repealing them.)

My question is, in that scenario, which party would you support?

Smh bruh......
Bruh the mental gymnastics these dudes go through each day is astounding. Republicans more likely to give reparations, calling people tethers and Republican friendly yet co-signing a Trump voting tether, etc.

Just go to the Kamala or FBA thread to see it.

Or don’t. No need to subject yourself to such foolishness.

I don't energy for this shit no more to be honest. I said on this very forum many moons ago that we'll never see reparations. To put your time and energy into trying to get them is wasted and lost opportunities on things that could actually be affective like home ownership, free healthcare, education, vocational education and other things that could better and more effective for our people but nope they want a check

Anyhoo Duke and Carolina are on
