Properly rated as a classic that has stood the test of time. We loved it in the hood not cause of the drugs or violence but because of the IDEA and DREAM of coming from absolutely nothing and hustling to the top. Classic rags to riches story. Also as a fan of 80s pop culture and style, this film is a great view into how that decade was.

Scarface not even Brian De Palma’s best movie

Scarface itself suffers from horrible pacing after Tony gets put on and the movie starts to tank as soon as Elvira gets with Tony

That push it to the limit montage made it so that they glossed much more interesting content than Tony sitting in a tub coked out acting like an asshole for no reason
 
Scarface a strong 7.5/10 as a movie but niggas be like

“ yoooo this changed my whole life

I got the Scarface leather jacket and it made me wanna sell drugs

10/10 I’m not even gonna talk about how they movie itself is average ima just tell you it had quotables which is how I determine if it’s good “
