Im guessin covid. Brazil is the worst country for covid in S. America. Not all the players and coaches want to be there. Would rather be working towards wc qualifications
I hope they don't but if star player like Neymar or Messi gets covid that might seal the deal for the tournament being played. Conmebol playing with fire here
Yeah, feels like it comes down to time constraints mixed with fitting in all the tournaments that rely on one another. WC qualitifications are apparently going to be tight trying to make it by March. This that NBA lockout type squeeze that ends up getting people hurt trying to do too much with too little time.
I woudnt wanna play against a team that had a fckn COVID outbreak, its stupid and not worth the risks... The Eriksen emergency puts football and your life/health into perspective...
I wonder if the countries get fined if they withdrew from either conmebol or their respective Federation
