The base of the criticism isnt because he's not a Democrat. It's because 1. He showed during his interviews he didnt know as much about this entire process as he initially portrayed and 2. Actually believing Trump of all people would take him seriously. Trump dont even take his own supporters seriously why the fuck would Ice Cube think he's gonna make a serious impact on Trump mere weeks before the election.

Why does it seem as if folks who wanna ride or die for Cube on this seem to think he's above any criticism at all? Like niggas supposed to just be happy at any effort even if it's somewhat misguided?

And you keep saying meeting with the president as if the current president being Trump doesnt actually matter. For cube, getting through to trump or not is only half of the equation. He knows trump aint wit it, but the other half was putting a fire under the dems ass, which he did do. Thats why they flipped the propaganda switch. So it wasn't stupid or a mistake. It was actually a calculated move

What Cube did didnt light a fire under Democrats. They was already going to do what they were gonna do, which if Cube's move was as calculated he would've known that. At the point Cube did what he did do you really think that shit changed people's minds on who they were gonna to vote or not vote for? That close to the actual election? Wasnt no undecided voters waiting to see what they said to Ice Cube in order to make their decision. Especially after Biden and his team had made their plan for public months before.
