This true. Last time I had jury duty was a case like this. They had to subpoena the victim into showing up to court and testifying cuz she didnt want to. Not because she was scared but cuz her and dude broke up yrs prior to this and she stopped giving af after she seen how long the process was taking between the time she first filed charges to even getting a court date. Had a new bf and had a baby and everything. DA pushed for it anyway.
