Thoughts On This Tyrese Rant?

I'm a little late on this and the "humble" controversy, I gave it some thought and I can kinda see why women are mad or annoyed by the sentiments which most likely where made in a positive sense but sound half crocked when you give them some serious thought.

It's an example of selective uplifting, in this case they're uplifting and encouraging women to be love their natural bodies but on the other hand they're demonizing (for lack of a better word) women with body modifications. If it was truly uplifting which again I'm sure tyrese and kendrick had their hearts in the right place, they're positive sentiment would celebrate women for being women.

It'd be like upping darkskin women over lightskin women or vice versa, the uplifting message falls short of being just that.

That's my take on the situation/controversies
