I'm listening to Golden Time Of The Day by Frankie Beverly & Maze. I always wanted to know who was hitting those high notes. I just found out who it was. I should've known it was her. No other than Minnie Riperton. Ain't gon cap G, that part almost moisturized my tear glands. Her voice was angelic

I had to listen... I didn't even realize that was even a person singing, I always thought it was some synth or something.

Also... They really don't make music like this anymore. I'm just listening to the composition itself and this shit just hits the soul right. Nothing being made today is anything like this.

It’s in the liner notes

Plus u know she sang background for mad niggas including Frankie Beverly and Stevie Wonder

This was one of my momma's records, I ain't really touch those. My pop's jazz records? Yeah, back in the 70's I was checking the album covers all the time.
