It was cool and all, but at the time I was heavy into Little Brother and the Hall of Justus crew, Blu and Exile, Lupe Fiasco, Society of Invisibles, etc.

Every time I get to Detroit, I gotta switch up my playlist. My homie don't listen to club music anymore, So I be having to go southpaw and go in my Little Brother bag. Every time she be like, "who this? I gotta add them to my playlist. That song is dope". I smile like a proud parent.

I've put a lotta cats on to LB over the years. I had Phonte's No News Is Good News playing a couple of weeks ago when my sister and my nephew fell through. Young bruh was nodding his head like "Who's this?" I told him and was like "He's from NC too, where y'all at". Pretty sure I've made another convert.

Rich Boy's "Throw Some D's" is surprisingly listenable these days, almost worthy of inclusion in the ride.

This was discovered thanks to a FB video about a Japanese Caddy limo donk.
Now go listen a Glorilla song and tell me they don’t sound the same
