have to get caught up on Blackish and Grownish at some point though
 
but i watched this and i will tune in from week to week

Im just kinda confused about his origin or rather how he got his powers (no i havent googled yet) but he doesnt seem to have any regenerating powers or like say if he came into contact with some electricity, that would heal him or something.

He seems more of a freak accident...i guess along the lines of Daredevil where while he does have powers per se, he is still very much human when it comes to healing from damage

i thought the subject matter the show is tackling is awesome, but some of the dialog was kinda cringe-worthy, but writing can always be fixed. This was the pilot so my expectations were extremely mild.

I could nitpick about one scene in particular, but it still doesnt take away from how good i think the show has the potential to be

He was born a metahuman (DC's term for the superpowered)

His powers could heal because they are electricity based. One time he defibrillated a Kryptonite threatened Superman. He could renew damaged tissue by using his absored electrons to manipulate molecules. So he can heal himself.

Good ep. I hope they dont spend all season on him fighting low rank criminals. Shit got played the f out in the last 2 super hero shows. Danny Rand and i forget the bullet proof guys name

Is metahuman the same as mutant for marvel since metahumans are born with their powers and their powers are activated by a metagene?
