Netflix The Vince Staples Show

Shout out to the pulp fiction, Easter eggs like when he had the cereal in a briefcase and it glowed gold for a second

Then in the last episode when he changed clothes, it was like in Pulp fiction after they had changed clothes at Quentin Tarantino‘s character’s house, and went to go see Marcellus Wallace after almost getting robbed.

Just watched 3,4&5

Great fucking show. Definitely heavily influenced by Atlanta and pulp fiction. I love black dry comedies like this.. and for me it delivered.

I wanted more of his sister from the first episode... "Best his ass" her casually committing several crimes while talking to a nigga needing bail was what immediately sold me.

I love how over the top this show was with normalizing chaos. It was such a fun ride.

Deja popping the cousin at the cook out fight was so great. She had me dying...

Show was decent, kinda Atlanta-ish in that it's comedic but also making political statements. Him going through bank robbery, jail, threatened to be stabbed, getting jumped by Mascots, getting shot at by a man who has his son w/ him, shooting the man who shot at him (ALLEGEDLY),then return home acting as if it's just normal. As a people we normalize trauma. :think2:

I don't get the Atlanta comparisons. I don't think that's fair.

Dave was an Atlanta rip off. This wasn't that.
