It was decent, but I expected more.

A lot of missed comedic opportunities but maybe the point wasn’t to be heavy on the funny.

Definitely heavy Atlanta vibes but just not done quite as well in my opinion.
Damn you already watched the whole series?

This isn't really anything like Atlanta to me. Atlanta in the beginning had an actual plot and then became a showcase for his writers and directors to get jobs as the main cast moved on to other shit.

Vince is like Seinfeld if Seinfeld was a rapper and based on LA.

Vince is like Louie if Louie wasn't funny.

Vince is not Ha Ha Ha funny. It doesn't have a plot. It doesn't really say anything. Vince as a character isn't interesting. None of the main characters are interesting.

The problem with the show is that nobody in the show wants anything and that's cool but then the characters have to have traits that makes them stand out.

Vince only works if you watched every Vince Staples interview and find his personality interesting enough to watch a show he wrote.

Kenya Barris wasn't the right guy for this, should've gotten Donald Glover's brother or something. Kenya Barris is myopic and only writes shit about himself. So of course, then Vince took everything he said in an interview and made a show about it.

I liked it. The bank robbery episode was hilarious imo. I was dying when Vince was recognized by the robbers
