He didn't know who was going to win. There was a 50% of Trump winning and a 50% of Biden winning. It makes perfect sense to reach out to both parties and see if you can get them to commit to anything on video. Yeah Trump didn't do much for the Black community but he was in office when Cube met with him. I think a bigger mistake was that Cube should have tried to meet with him earlier rather than waiting until the end of his term.

I have no problems with an athlete or entertainer using his status to deal with politicians. Because let's face it, they have the star power to get through the door and shake the president's hand which is something that you nor I have the power to do.

Yeah, this narrative on Cube being a Coon is way overblown.

I will say this: Cube's biggest fault here was thinking that he spoke for all of Black America. I didn't see any type of collaboration with any other prominent black figures; he just took this upon himself. Had he actually reached out to others, he probably would've been talked down into being so hasty with his position. I don't blame him for trying, and he bit off way too much than he could chew, but to say he sold out...nah. Don't do that shit.

His recent befriending with an executive member of the Zionist movement is suspicious, though.

Between trying to negociate with a racist fool and getting chummy with one of the most racist colonialist ideologies ever (ideological movement whose figurehead of statehood, Israel, has reportedly supported the apartheid-era South Africa in its attempts to wipe out black people of the face of the earth; supported the Rwandan Genocide; caused shit in Congo; the Biafra separatists in Nigeria; castrated hundreds of Ethiopian Jews while their arrival in Israel; sold out other Jews to the Nazis in WWII and so on) is beyond being ignorant or naive.
