Bruh, stop saying its mathematically impossible because that only leads to me starting to believe that you don't understand how math works. The reason we have such a huge wealth gap is because policies were passed that stifled the wealth growth of the lower and middle classes and boosted the wealth growth for rich people. The government could absolutely pass policies to increase the wealth growth of the lower and middle classes and slow the wealth growth for the rich. That would decrease the wealth gap.

Now I think what you're trying to say is that without doing something major, you're not going eliminate that gap in our system. That's true, but like I said before, we're not talking about eliminating the gap. We're talking about decreasing it. That won't lead to everyone being able to buy a yacht, but reducing that gap could pull a lot of people out of poverty, which would be a big deal.

Ok...look I don’t know where you are and what you do for a living but....never mind- not gonna internet rant.

Practically if you give everyone 100000 dollars on earth and bezos smokes coke for the next year and doesn’t work a day at Amazon. The gains on Bezos stock if he just gets market avg will rise more than 1000000 A DAY.... compound interest is math...it’s not magic ...well I don’t think it is.

The wealth gap at the top won’t be overcome by giving people who need money to live (money to spend )while rich people make more in the market (that the don’t spend but leverage for living). I don’t get these poor people pipe dreams- the wealth gap is controlled by international banking rules that allow guys like trump to go bankrupt and have access to billions... these protections for bad rich people realllllly benefit the avg rich person. It keeps the growing...

if someone starts with 100000 and you start with 10 mil....on avg the wealth gap gonna grow faster than the poorer person can overcome.

I know you probably reading some stuff but it’s BS

Giving poor people money is only part of what I said. You're missing the part where policies are put in place to slow the growth of the rich such as increasing capital gains taxes and closing loopholes that allow them to make all that money and not have to pay any of it back.

Again, the gap is not the size that it is because of the disparity you're talking about. The gap is as big as it is because of specific policies, and those policies can be reversed. You can absolutely control those rates. The Nordic countries do it and we used to do it around FDR's time in office.
