This retreat of Afganistan was botched. It was so bad, that ISIS was able to blow some shit up and kill US soldiers.

Shit was super avoidable. These evacuations could have happened months ago.

They fucked up so bad that they had to go back in and emergency evecuate mfers which led to this.

More likely scenario this was ISIS and not the Taliban. Taliban want to be accepted at least somewhat by the international community. They lost Afghanistan for 20 years after having it for about five and what they want most is to establish a long term nation. They been working hella hard to convince people they can be worked with.

There is a guy at my work from Afghanistan at my work. He told me sweden selling weapons to the taliban and all Afghanistan enemies.

I feel bad for him. He got family there . He hates usa now for leaving
