Its dope a lot of these comedians doing specials for youtube. Been listening a lot to podcasts and a lot of the reasoning is streaming sites arent interested in buying the specials. They will work deals out with comedians but they wont buy and license ones that are already created and never been seen. Same with HBO and Showtime. Word is Amazon is buying up specials and airing them on Prime though. Mark Normand did pretty well in the last 3 months hes already got 2million views. I dont know how much that equals out to for payment, but with the ads and everything it might be a decent paycheck. At least enough to cover production cost i would think, then hes able to reach literally everybody and build up his fan base.
