I don't care about the cop connotation, although her history is bad apparently with her position. If she had a community supported sterling record with blacks would her being a cop be a problem? And who she's getting dicked down by is a stretch when it comes to being good for blacks. I will say that pandering shit is no different than what Hillary did and makes me smh

It maters who's she getting dicked down by in conjunction with her being a cop. It's another thing that people say is just a small thing but too many small things is a problem.
 
Kamala's spouse preference and her being a cop has nothing to do with how she'll perform as president. Those are actually stupid reasons not to support someone so I'm giving @Los216 the "might be a Russian bot" side eye.

What she did as a cop would be a better argument against her, but I don't know that she did anything as a cop that would disqualify her.

What I don't like is that she and Booker use their race as pawns to win. Same way I don't like Buttigieg using his homosexuality and Castro using his Latin heritage as pawns. That's weak to me.

Okay but you don't like her using her race as a pawn yet it doesn't matter that this black person using her race as a pawn is also married to a white man? They go hand in hand. She's already been checked for that phony shit she did when she pulled her hair back or when she made the dumbass comment about smoking weed to Snoop when her timeline was all wrong.

I already said that I don't care that she's married to a white man. I care that she's married to a white man and that she wants us to ignore that but not ignore her clearly pandering to a whole race of people. That's some snake oil salesman shit and I ain't wit it. Who she married doesn't matter. If you don't like her pandering to the black community because she's not really been an activist for the community prior, then just say that. That has nothing to do with what race she married.

Ben Carson got a black wife and that doesn't add to his credibility, so Kamala marrying a white man shouldn't take from her credibility.

Gaetz Pans New Ethics Probe For ‘Psychoanalyzing My Tweets’ About Michael Cohen

The House Ethics Committee announced Friday that it is opening an investigative subcommittee to look into whether Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) sought to improperly influence or even threaten former Trump lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen ahead of Cohen’s February congressional testimony.



The subcommittee was established because Gaetz declined to be interviewed by the committee, according to a committee press release.

Gaetz was blunt in response.

“If members of Congress want to spend their time psychoanalyzing my tweets, it’s certainly their prerogative,” he said in a statement his press secretary sent to TPM. “I won’t be joining them in the endeavor.”

The investigation stems from a tweet Gaetz sent on the eve of Michael Cohen’s testimony before the House Oversight Committee in February.

The tweet, since deleted, read: “Hey @MichaelCohen212 – Do your wife & father-in-law know about your girlfriends? Maybe tonight would be a good time for that chat. I wonder if she’ll remain faithful when you’re in prison. She’s about to learn a lot …”

Criticism of the post was bipartisan. Gaetz ultimately deleted it and apologized in a tweet, in his unique style.



The congressman also claimed to have apologized to Cohen personally. (Vanity Fair published the purported text).

The Florida Bar is also investigating the tweet. Gaetz has denied telling Trump that he was “happy to do it,” referring to the ominous tweet, after The Atlantic’s Edward-Isaac Dovere reported someone had heard the congressman saying as much.

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh went on a long rant bashing the Democratic party following the Thursday debate, calling the entire party “a bigger hate group than the KKK.”

“They are a bigger hate group than the KKK which is always been the military, quote-unquote, wing of the Democrat Party anyway,” Limbaugh said. “There isn’t a right-wing group that can hold a candle to these people.”

“They seek control over life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and they do so from a position of rage and anger. They are angry that the concepts of life, liberty, pursuit of happiness exist. And their mission is obviously to shut them down,” he continued.

Limbaugh then argued that every single Democratic candidate who participated in the Miami debates “are the same.”

“It doesn’t matter which of those 20 people, if any of them, would win, doesn’t matter which one we’re talking about. They all are the same, they all represent the modern-day Democrat Party,” Limbaugh said.

“We are one election away from the kind of dangerous rhetoric and behavior we saw last night – tyranny – taking over this country. One election away from it folks,” he said.
