Mussolini’s great-grandson runs for a seat in the European Parliament

Mussolini avoided explicit references to fascist ideology, but Mussolini repeatedly hinted he views his great grandfather as an inspiration.

In an interview with the newspaper Il Messaggero, Mussolini said he “will always be proud” of his family name and that he hopes voters will appreciate the “Mussolini brand.” In his electoral billboards, he claims to represent Italy’s “history” and the billboards use a controversial font popular with neo-fascist groups. His slogan is #scriviMussolini, or #writeMussolini.

The fuck is this??? How do they justify releasing this? Aren't all the redacted parts obvious proof of wrongdoing?

What do you mean by that sentence?

Because “collusion” isn’t even a crime. It’s a nation wide, two year branding campaign by the President.



Muller explicitly made the decision to not discuss “Collusion” in his analysis because it’s immaterial. However by anyone’s reasonable definition of “collusion” - it is BLATANTLY obvious that coordination and collusion took place... There are literally hundreds of pages of it.


Here’s what we know as fact based on Muller’s findings:
  • The Russians attempted to influence our elections
  • Trumps campaign was aware they were receiving help from the Russians
  • They enthusiastically welcomed the help
  • They strategized and executed ways to amplify the impact of that help
  • The Russians succeeded in their mission



What Muller’s team analyzed is the Trump campaign’s actions with respect to the narrow Legal scope represented in whether or not Muller could acquire enough admissible evidence to enable the Justice Department to prosecute and convict the Trump campaign pursuant to the very high legal bar of criminal conspiracy of guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

The standard of conspiracy requires explicit evidence that two conspirators had a “meeting of the minds” and documented coordination that can be proven beyond a reasonable doubt.


The fact that a conservator prosecutor did not believe that there was enough to clear that high legal bar doesn’t mean ... “No collusion”.

That’s a tag line for a MAGA Hat. Not a representation of what has occurred over the past 22 months.




Bottom line.

  • There is NO exoneration.
  • There is NOT a lack of evidence of Criminal Conspiracy.
  • And there is NO shortage or absence of abhorrent behavior with respect to the charge of coordination between the Trump Campaign and Russia.

Period.

Assuming this context, I ask again what did you mean by your sentence?

So from my initial reaction Mueller had enough to charge but chose this ambiguous conclusion as to it get bogged down in the law and litigation and what not
