Naw. Yall still fucked up and passed on Guice
Shit, everybody did. They claim he assaulted some chick at the Superdome in December.

Kerryon did lead the SEC in rushing, and played the same division that Guice did. Guice had a better 16 than 17 anyway. Wish homie well.

Guice was hurt all year.

And we all know our QB situation was the worst in the NCAA since Metz left.

Niggas gotta stop letting these hoes get in their head where they would even need to raise their voice.

Derrick Jeter needs to teach a seminar to these athletes

Colin Kaepernick, Eric Reid work out together as NFL collusion case proceeds

Former San Francisco 49ers teammates Colin Kaepernick and Eric Reid have joined forces off the field in their collusion lawsuit against the NFL. Apparently, they've now joined forces on the field as well.

The quarterback and safety were spotted Tuesday morning, dressed in cleats and shorts, working out with an unidentified trainer before the Cal State East Bay women's soccer team took the field.

“We’re not doing interviews,” Kaepernick responded when a San Jose Mercury News reporter tried to talk to him. “We’re just here getting in a workout.”

Kaepernick hasn't played in the NFL since 2016, the year he began kneeling during the national anthem to call attention to racial inequality and police brutality.

Reid joined Kaepernick in kneeling during the anthem and continued to as a member of the Niners last season. However, he became a free agent over the winter and has yet to receive a contract offer.

The NFL Players Association filed a grievance Monday on Reid's behalf, alleging that one NFL team asked him during a free agent visit if he would continue to kneel this season.

Despite '96 assault charge, Lions back Patricia

In a joint statement Tuesday evening, Detroit Lions owner Martha Ford, team president Rod Wood and general manager Bob Quinn said they support head coach Matt Patricia after a sexual assault charge from 22 years ago was reported in the Detroit News on Tuesday night.

Patricia, in an accompanying statement, said he was falsely accused and Wood told the News the organization had no regrets hiring the 43-year-old first-time head coach.

"As someone who was falsely accused of this very serious charge over 22 years ago, and never given the opportunity to defend myself and clear my name, I find it incredibly unfair, disappointing, and frustrating that this story would resurface now with the only purpose being to damage my character and reputation," Patricia said in the statement. I firmly maintain my innocence, as I have always done. I would never condone any of the behavior that was alleged and will always respect and protect the rights of anyone who has been harassed or is the victim of violence.

"My priorities remain the same -- to move forward and strive to be the best coach, teacher, and man that I can possibly be."

Patricia was a 21-year-old student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and on spring break in South Padre Island, Texas, when the alleged assault occurred. Charges were filed in the case and Patricia and his friend, Greg Dietrich, were indicted by a grand jury of one count of aggravated sexual assault, but they were never tried in the case.

Wood told the News that he and general manager Bob Quinn were not aware of the allegation in Patricia's past when they hired him. He later told the newspaper he was "comfortable" with Patricia on staff.

"I am very comfortable with the process of interviewing and employing Matt," Wood told the News. "I will tell you with 1,000 percent certainty that everything I've learned confirmed what I already knew about the man and would have no way changed our decision to make him our head coach."

Later Tuesday evening, Wood released a statement along with Ford and Quinn standing by their 43-year-old first-year head coach acknowledging they were aware of the report and the charge against Patricia from over 22 years ago.

"The charge was dismissed by the prosecutor at the request of the complaining individual prior to trial. As a result, Coach Patricia never had the opportunity to present his case or clear his name publicly in a court of law. He has denied that there was any factual basis for the charge," the statement read. "There was no settlement agreement with the complaining individual, no money exchanged hands and there was no confidentiality agreement. In discussions today with Lions management, the reporter involved acknowledged that the allegations have not been substantiated.

"As an organization, The Detroit Lions take allegations regarding sexual assault or harassment seriously. Coach Patricia was the subject of a standard pre-employment background check which did not disclose this issue. We have spoken to Coach Patricia about this at length as well as the attorney who represented him at the time. Based upon everything we have learned, we believe and have accepted Coach Patricia's explanation and we will continue to support him. We will continue to work with our players and the NFL to further awareness of and protections for those individuals who are the victims of sexual assault or violence."

The News reported APG Security, a private investigation firm with a corporate headquarters in South Amboy, New Jersey, and offices in 21 states including Texas, had requested the court files for Patricia's case in January. It is not clear whether or not the Lions had contracted the firm to run a background check on Patricia or if this was someone else.

The News reported the case against Patricia and Dietrich fell apart when the alleged victim did not respond to attempts to contact her in the weeks following the incident and decided she would not testify.

As of Wednesday night, the 43-year-old Patricia was scheduled to talk with the media Thursday before the team opens its rookie minicamp this weekend.

She told police they met on a Texas beach, fellow college students visiting South Padre Island during spring break 1996.

She was a 21-year-old college student at a large university; they were two football players and Theta Chi fraternity brothers at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in upstate New York.

On the evening of March 15, 1996, the woman told police that two men burst into the upscale hotel room where she was sleeping and took turns violently sexually assaulting her, according to court records and a news account at the time.
They were arrested, charged and later indicted by a grand jury on one count of aggravated sexual assault — but they never stood trial and were not convicted.

I agree with this

But the problem is with the NFLPA. They were stupid enough to give Roger Goodell god-like powers and they are paying for it. They had a chance to fight to get his powers taken away during the last CBA negotiation and they didn't even bother. The NFLPA needs to grow a pair of balls and fight.

NFLPA can only go as far as ALL the players are willing to go. The NBAPA got 12-15 dudes on each team to get on the same page. The NFLPA got over 50 dudes per squad to get on the same page. Plus, I hate to bring race into this. But here is my 2 cents. The NBA and NFL are predominantly black sports, NBA more so than NFL. My point is the leaders are NBA teams and the league are usually black and there is more of a "community". In The NFL the leaders of teams are usually the QB, whom are white, while a large chunk of the squad is predominantly black. There is less "community" in the NFL. Which is understandable given the amount of players and cultural diversity amongst them. Think about the last NBA CBA shit. LeBron, kobe, Chris Paul, carmelo. All their faces were on the news and they were vocal w/o being forced. When non all stars players see that, they are more willing to follow suit.

Drop the story.

I'll try to keep it as short as possible.
My girl got us some expensive overpriced jay-z BP3 tickets. Jay came to the Mohegan Sun Casino in CT. I had been told there would be no booze sold at the event. So I bought a bunch of nippers to sneak in after swiggin on a bottle of dark liquor on the way there.
We went w one of those couples that the girl always sonning her man. Anyways I got tore up beforehand. There ended up being booze sold at the event after all. So I went to get some beer and shit and see Aaron Affalo, but I saw three Aaron affalos cause I was that fucked up. I went up to him on some "what up Aaron affalo, I'm a big fan" at the same time wondering WTF this nigga doing in CT when he play for the Denver nuggets. This nigga looked at me like I was crazy, I damn near spilled my beer on him when I walked up to him n shit. The nigga looked at me dead serious n says.. "I'm deangelo hall". I was like "yooo deangelo hall I'm a big fan" asked the nigga for a autograph and picture, while I was giving my girl my phone to take a picture...dude walked away shaking his head without saying a word. The night ended w me setting my girls hair on fire tryinta smoke a cigarette super drunk and telling homeboy I was w to grow some balls and put his girl in check. I don't even remember jay-z or young jeezy performing. Just Trey Songz midget ass opening the show w his shirt off. The next morning I woke up w the ill headache and my girl looking at me like she had found a used condom in my pocket. I turned on ESPN to distract myself from her death stare and who do I see. Fucking Deangelo Hall doing a in studio segment for NFL insider or some shit. My girl looks at the TV and says "there's your boy". Till this day my girl get tight when I bring that shit up.
Sorry for writing so much..

Eagles' Lane Johnson continues to take shots at Patriots

It has been over three months since Super Bowl LII, and Lane Johnson's trash-talking of the New England Patriots is still going strong.

The Philadelphia Eagles right tackle took more shots during a recent appearance on Steve Austin's podcast and revealed where some of the ill will stems from.

“Here's what pissed me off," Johnson said. "The Patriots, obviously, I respect their coach, I respect Bill [Belichick], I respect Tom Brady, but just because the way that they won the Super Bowls, the Patriot Way, is that how everybody else is supposed to do the same thing? No, it's not. And that's what I got mad at, the arrogance by them.

“There was obviously some stuff behind closed doors. Their owner talking s--- to our owner. Bill talking s--- to our head coach [Doug Pederson] before the game. I'm not going to say it, but a lot of s--- kind (of) built up to that, and I just got tired of hearing about it, man, to be honest."

Johnson has not been shy about sharing his feelings on the Patriots. Following the Eagles' win over the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Championship Game, Johnson immediately turned his sights to New England, calling Brady a "pretty boy" and saying "there's nothing I'd like to do more than dethrone that guy."

After the Super Bowl, he described the Patriots as a "fear-based organization" with players who "act like f---ing robots." He doubled down on that assessment when asked about the mystery surrounding Belichick's decision not to play cornerback Malcolm Butler in the Super Bowl.

"That's the thing, you're never going to know," Johnson said. "Whatever they're told to do in the media is what they're told to do. Like I said, they're robots."

The Eagles defeated the Patriots 41-33 to claim their first Lombardi trophy.

"I saw a [Patriots] defense that wasn't overly talented.
It was all really about containing Tom Brady," Johnson said on the Austin podcast. "We had a hard time doing that -- he had 505 yards. But that was really it, man. Going into the game, I'm not going to be shell-shocked by it. That was kind of our thing going in. I think we had the upper hand on that."

Giants should go right ahead and sign Dez. Fuck it. If Sheppard or OBJ get hurt, we ain't got shit. Sign Dez to a team friendly contract that we can get out of after one year. Dez is a red zone target and would immediately be the best run blocking WR on the squad (we bout to become a run first offense anyways, n OBJ n shep ain't built to run block). Dez could also give giants a little insurance in case OBJ get too crazy w the contract demands.

Obj can block.

That nigga spent 3 years playing for LSU lol

He can do it, but is not a strength of his. Even for a WR. Him n Shep ain't known for they blocking the way Dez and some other WR are. I'm just saying, I wouldn't mind if they sign dez
