Wild that the fighting nerds all lost their last fight. I like Diego lopes. He always makes an exciting fight. Once volk retires id like to see him take the 145 belt. Or get a rematch with volk. Would like to see him fight aljo before he retires as well. A fight with Josh Emmett would be entertaining too.

Really hoping pereira wins. Get that belt away from ankalaev. Then get poatans next defense fight with Ulberg, that will be a dope fight.

Merab vs Sandhagen.. im rooting for Sandhagen, but Merabs wrestling is absolutely insane and if thats the approach hes going with, I see Cory really struggling with it. Cory will do much better on the ground than O Malleu did, I think, but I dont think anyone in the division can really fuck with merab once he gets a hold of them. Umar had the best chances I thought, but he got completely ragdolled in their fight.

Jiri vs Rountree should be an awesome fight. Can't pick a winner, I dont want to see either of them lose. Just going to sit back and enjoy the chaos.

Hope Emmett and Pyfer win their fights. I dont really know anything about their opponents.
 
Also, not really MMA related, but Jon Jones brother, Arthur Jones has passed away. Arthur played in the NFL (as well as their brother Chandler Jones) and was a superbowl champ. So far there hasn't been a cause of death announced.

I know awhile back someone was posting Twitter screen shots of one of Jones brothers having a mental breakdown. I cant recall which one it was but I have a feeling it was Arthur. Dude was only 39 years old. Really unfortunate stuff. Im sure Jon isn't handling it very well.
 
Does Pereira have an answer this time to the grappling? He was dominated and couldn't do anything

Fully expect Ankalaev to just repeat the same thing because of how badly Pereira couldn't defend against it
