She gotta work on that ground game... But she did decent survival against a brown belt. But she was definitely on survival mode most of the time
 
First two rounds were very telling.

She definitely knew how to survive. But she's strong af. Had she been able to execute some escapes or sweeps on the ground it would have been a dominant performance. The chick definitely couldn't stand with her... And after the take downs she pretty much just stayed on top of her the whole first two rounds.

She had the skill to hold shield down... But not enough strength to run anything. She couldn't work a submission, she couldn't tap her. Clarissa was too strong and too fucking scrappy.... Even when the chick tried to ground and pound .. Clarissa throwing from her back was more effective than the chick in full mount.. She improve her ground game it's gonna be really tough to stop her.

Cuz a good take down defense, or getting right back up after a take down..... It's curtains. She was out a few times on the ground just by overpowering her opponent.. Just didn't get a leg or arm free enough to create distance. It'll come in time.... But once she got it... It's a wrap

Yeah, she's way too novice on the ground. It's gonna be like 2025 before she's seasoned enough to go for a UFC title. I mean they'll try to push her faster .. But I don't wanna see her in the UFC trying to get a belt till her 30th birthday. Rushing people fucks up the whole vibe
 
My boy Jesse did a great Muay Thai sweep I don't think I've ever seen in MMA before. The commentators were gassing the fuck out of it, and he Jesse was laughing about it on FB last night.

Like even in loss we were giving him props for pulling that shit off.... Definitely one of those things niggaz do in practice you rarely see in the cage
 
I was waiting for the fight i might have fell asleep i cut it on and she was celebrating already..will check it out later

I'd probably focus on take down defense first and foremost. Getting a good ground game takes a lot of work. Simply not being easy to take down can get you pretty far especial when you're really good on your feet. She's got to get that ground game strong eventually if she wants to be elite though.
 
Ehhh, I don't know. That kinda looked like a work to me. The chick had that armbar and just let it go. And then in the 3rd round, she didn't really try to do much on the ground.

Clarissa didn't look terrible, but I agree with the commentators. In both the first and second rounds, she made mistakes that got her trapped on the ground. She's got to try and avoid that at all costs because an opponent that's actually skilled on the ground would have finished her in like 10 seconds.
