@thefrenchwood has your boy Gane worked on his wrestling?
Serious thoughts first: he’s been working on his wrestling more than anything else for most of his MMA career. I seriously believe the moment got to him and Jon is Jon.

Now…he’s been working with guys from the French national team and a former Judo silver medalist. I think he’ll roll over Spivac like we’ve never seen him before

Interesting perspective. I think it depends on your path though. Lesnar became a champion because he was fast tracked and put up against a grappling specialist. Had he gone a normal route, he probably would have encountered a strong striker before he became a champion and got derailed.

Sane thing with Periera. He was fast tracked and put up against a bunch of strikers. If he had faced an elite grappler early on, he never would have become champion the way he did.

@thefrenchwood Morgan Charriere legit? Those are a lot of losses on his record.
He started out relatively young. He wanted to be the french Cowboy. Not caring about wins and losses, as long as he gave the fans a show. He's a top 3 most famous french fighters and all that before the UFC. Fighting on short notice, bad matchups whatever. As he grew, he kinda switched things around and decided to win and become a serious contender.

Now the fighting part: He can strike, he can wrestle, he has good cardio. He can do it all....but unfortunately nothing at an elite level.
