Thanos is a ripoff of Darkseid and since MCU did Thanos first the audience will think it's a rip off of Thanos lol

Though they did Thanos differently. Thanos is in love with Death. Darkseid wants the anti life equation to rule over everything

Would have been cool to see a decent Darkseid done
 
I get him not wanting to do darkseid. Thanos is such an iconic movie villain now and everyone will just compare the two. Plus, although we didn't get to see him fully in action, Snyder already had his hands on darkseid and Gunn seems to want to make this universe very different than whatever weve had prior.

Will still be cool to see darkseid in the future though. I think it will happen with time, but for now they got a huge amount of characters they can use for a big villain.

Would love for them to do something with brainiac or the anti monitor. My dream would be to see a blackest night adaption with nekron being the big bad, but still way too early for that considering that arc was reviving dead DC heros.

They announced they are open to selling their IPs individually or selling everything all together. If its individually then DC studios could potentially be purchased all by itself if the money is right.

Paramount is looking like the big investor.

If/when it does sell, there could be a huge shake up for DC again. Or its possible nothing will change. James Gunn and Peter saffron are a small part of wb and are only in their positions per the current bosses. Once those bosses change there's a possibility they may not have the same vision for DC studios.

Hopefully they will recognize what Gunn and saffron are doing and just let them continue.
 
It's still crazier... There is no practical logical or hypothetical to how he escaped.... Like nothing. The only thing I can think is it crawled under a neighbor's house and died.


But upon research.... There's a very high likely hood Scott still in these streets...
