I think Avengers was the better movie but it's closer than I originally would have thought. JL had more powerful heroes, but the heroes in Avengers were better developed. The action was better in JL. DC has always had more impressive action scenes. Avengers had a slightly better story and the pacing was better. In a vacuum, I can see why some might favor that version of the JL. That said how much better could Avengers be with a do over?
