I don't think it's fair to say people didn't get out there fast enough to get the vaccine, the government fumbled that shut and was so backed up on production, I read the articles, aint gonna point the finger at others. Most went as soon as their group was told they could and they had to delegate it out like that because shipments were being delayed, production was backed up etc. Not citizens fault.
 
The reason viruses, bacteria and parasites evolve/mutate is because of natural immunity or inoculated immunity. Otherwise there is little reason for a virus to mutate/evolve because what it was doing was working just fine, until something came along to make their survival more difficult.

This is very interesting because international travel is widespread. I know many countries are still restricting travel. But if your vaccinated and come in contact with the new variant but show no symptoms. When you comeback to the states or your home country your now a spreader of the new variant🤔. The current vaccines and boosters dont offer a considerable stop to the contagious aspect of the new variant do they?
 
Nature's fucked up. It doesn't care you love your children, it decides; "here's a plague, bye bye". But humans have this magnificent mind where we can say "fuck you nature! You're not smarter than us! Haha TAKE THIS!" And devise clever ways around such loveless actions.

We fail to realize, or we are only now realizing, the earth is not big enough for all of us(I beg to differ) and we don't have the food or resources to live here and we're seriously contemplating jumping ship....well...the rich enough ones anyway.

Earth's plagues to keep the itself in balance and our big brains(also our compassion) finding ways around it is going to fuck us over in the end. Things evolve when they can no longer survive in the environment they were in. "Adapt or die". Us included.

We're too smart for our good which in turn makes us dumbasses. We are going to create super bugs ourselves, nature demanding balance. The mega rich are gonna fuck off somewhere, and this planet* gonna be cesspool of horrific diseases and dying.

Idk much about the new variant yet. I read some article stating they're working on ways to keep up with emerging variants faster within 60-90 days to close the window of allowing a spread. If I come across the article again I'll post it.
 
If we understood then what we understand now we wouldn't be in the boat we're in. It didn't even dawn on us to wash our fucking hands before "surgery", not sure you can call what happened back then as surgery, more like butchery, anyway, if we knew way back then why nature did these things and just let nature do its thing we prolly could have managed as our population would be drastically lower and wouldn't have so many deaths. Everyone who survived* that round of plagues or disease would have natural herd immunity that would last generations.

However we are too far in on the survival by any means shit that if we let nature take its course, we'd be so fucked beyond belief. So even tho we know we didn't pick the best path its the path we must follow through on.... OR....it's just being delayed until the mega rich get their shit together and leave and then it's fuck the rest of us and our much needed vaccines.
