All the CDC ever said is it's not approved for use for Covid because there isn't enough data. It literally takes a neutral stance.

Yes, let’s play percentages. Tell me the number of people dying from the vaccine itself as a percentage of those who got the vaccine vs. the people that died from ivermectin use itself as a percentage of those that took it. This is the safe part.

Also, tell me the number of vaccinated people that caught Covid and were hospitalized or worse as a percentage of all vaxxed vs. the number of people who caught Covid and were hospitalized or worse as a percentage of all those who took ivermectin. This is the effective part.

But for the record, these are the kind of posts where people would dispute with you and you’d claim we’re attacking you for personal medical reasons for not getting the vaccine.

This post shows me what media is doing is working.

People aren't dying from ivermectin. Most of those stories are people who died OF COVID regardless of ivermectin self medication (the wrong ivermectin).

The people that are being poisoned are from livestock ivermectin. Human ivermectin is literally one of the safest drugs and isn't poisoning anyone.

My point was that the vaccines are safe and effective since the post I responded to tried to compare the safety and effectiveness of Ivermectin to those of the vaccine. There’s really no comparison between the two options at this point. That may change if real studies are conducted on Ivermectin. Most researchers probably don’t see the point though given the vaccines are proven.

And I do understand the difference between the Ivermectin being discussed in the media and the human version. And I do agree it’s being disingenuous to make it seem like they are linked.

Ya'll got to stop framing shit this way. The goal post isn't moving. The pandemic is dynamic in nature and the response has to be dynamic too. Again, I got vaccinated in April and they were saying back then we would likely need booster shots, and that was before the Delta variant became a thing.

If you don't want to get the vaccine, that's fine, but you gotta stop misrepresenting shit.

Yea that's what I meant saying "after taking ivermectin". Not that ivermectin was cause of death.

Oxford running a study on ivermectin now. CDC approves it in clinical trials only. And if a doc can't get a patient to get vaccinated and thinks ivermectin might help as a last resort then why not? It's cheap and safe when prescribed by a doctor.

And there were a few local stories where it helped a patient already on ventilator reverse course and get back to health.
