The official COVID-19/Coronavirus Discussion Thread...aka I hope I don't get the Rona

It is about deaths from Covid vs the vaccine. The vaccine has a high effectiveness for preventing death. Covid is killing people. Some people die or have severe effects from the vaccine, but nowhere near the level of Covid. It’s a pretty simple equation.

Everybody has to weigh the risks for themselves, but we can’t act like the small risk outweighs the large benefits. You have to do these risk calculations with any drug/vaccine so why are we acting like this one is so different?

It's NOT Covid deaths vs vacc deaths, it's the reliability of the vaccine like I said. Of course numbers for 'covid' deaths would be much higher. Thing is this equation is no where near as simple as you're making it. The small risk involved with vaccine isnt really small at all and the benefit is not that large as lack of reliability.
Honest truth is y'all vacc niggas gone have to end up talking that shit like bi annually our every quarter cuz of wear in efficacy, variants, etc. I'm good on getting shot up like a damn junkie lol jk.

All races of people are already distrustful of governments and big pharma. Add on to that this IMO is really the first time folks have really seen a vaccination come out and been paying attention to how it came about. It's still in a trial phase. Most people who've taken this vaccine would never sign up to part of a normal vaccine trial phase before it gets FDA approval. Yet that is exactly what millions of people have done. With signing up to take a trial vaccine if that does something to you in say 5 years you can't even sue the pharma company who vaccine you took. Shit look at how long J&J knew their baby powder was fucked up, why didn't the FDA catch it after all these years. I get why folks distrustful of the vaccine.

People say trust the science but acting like there aren't possibly corrupt or bias scientists doing the science for the vaccine.

This shit is completely different. Most people were given vaccines as kids without it being a choice they could make on their own. Now most people have the choice whether to take it or not.

The uproar and stances taken on both sides is just wild as shit to me.

What did he say when he was asked about 400,000 people at lollapalooza?
I don’t know, enlighten me please. I’d assume though he’d be against that as well seeing as he’s basically against all non-essential large gatherings at the moment.

I’ve never seen him give his blessing to these type of events when cases are so high, but I’m open to being wrong.

I guess that’s part of your risk calculation. I look at vaccines in general and there has been no vaccine that has caused side effects past 2 months after being vaccinated, and typically it’s within 2 weeks. So the long term effects don’t seem to be as much of a concern. Of course I could be wrong and 5 years down the road there be a side effect, but you could be wrong too. Difference is, I’m basing my risk calculation on science and past evidence. At least that which is known.

100% by force then it looks like.... before anyone even understands the long term effects, scary.

Not that got damn horse paste again!
If you applied those same numbers to the vaccine, you would get hammered in this thread. 72% of people with Ivermectin vs. 50% without got better in six days? Imagine what people in here would say if the vaccine was 72% effective and without it you still have a 50% chance of being just fine.

Get the vaccine, or have natural immunity, and be 99% protected against Covid.

I’m not really seeing the benefit of Ivermectin, at least when there’s a vaccine option.

Unless I’m totally missing the point of your Ivermectin push.
