The official COVID-19/Coronavirus Discussion Thread...aka I hope I don't get the Rona

Da fuq you taking about strengthen your immune system, eat healthy. There's naturally based supplements to boost your immune system.

Yeah you go into the hospital with covid symptoms and they'll send you home with some fruit and vegetables as the way to beat a respiratory disease. Makes sense

Things like lock downs, stay indoors...which exacerbate depression, unhealthy eating habits, substance abuse, stress, weaken your immune system.

Having a healthy immune system increases your chances of beating the virus. Which is why most of those who die from it, vaxxed or not, are immunocompromised or suffer a comorbidity.

Any healthy person who died from Rona is rare af.

So yes natural things like exercise, healthy eating habits, regular sun light, helps u plenty.

Majority of people have some sort of health issue so being "healthy" is subjective as it is. And if a person does happen to get infected with covid 19 they're not about to tell you to pop a supplement pill, change your diet and you'll be good to go.

Far from baseless, shit watch the news mainstream shit , NBC, ABC, etc. They talk about people getting the virus after the vaccine all the time, the booster shot shit too. What I said is far from baseless gtfoh. And way too many folk dropping dead from that shit for it to be reliable, PERIOD.

You do know it's never been stated that getting the vaccine means you won't get covid right? It's to minimize the symptoms and keep you from dying should you contract covid. Thats how vaccines tend to work. The whole "you can get the vaccine and still get covid" shit going around at this point is people just being willfully ignorant because that shit has been explained a million times over.

This just one example.

“This is an observational study,” Meltzer said. “We can see that there’s an association between vitamin D levels and likelihood of a COVID-19 diagnosis, but we don’t know exactly why that is, or whether these results are due to the vitamin D directly or other related biological factors.”

That's also part of the article. I'm not denying that being healthier in general won't help battle a deadly disease. What I'm saying is that it's not as simple as "eat healthy and that's a natural way to best covid" cuz if it were that simple then millions across the world wouldn't be dead from it

Millions is a raw number estimate, the percentage/rate vs global population is what gives us a clearer picture

I don't think that's how other vaccine work or are promoted, "they lesson symptoms and risk of death"

Exactly you can eat healthy and have asthma and other respiratory issues or be immuncompromised otherwise.

Long before covid hit the US has been known to be one of the most unhealthy countries on the planet. So knowing this of course these numbers would be higher and would also speak to the idea that people need to be that much more vigilant in their efforts to make sure they're protected because of the vast majority in this country being unhealthy. That same stat can be used to emphasize the purpose of people in the US needing to be vaccinated. I'm not familiar with how other countries are listed in terms of their health status but it would be interesting to see a comparative model done

I was watching Meet the Press this morning and the messaging throughout, from Fauci to the President of the teachers union, was that once the FDA fully approves the vaccines, businesses and public employers (schools) will require workers be vaccinated.

I don’t agree with it, but it’s coming. So unvaccinated folks are going to have to deal with that fact regardless.

Fauci was saying this morning that a study came out that said someone who caught Covid and got 1 shot of the vaccine had double the protection of someone who never caught it and had two shots.

He didn’t say much more with regard to natural protection vs vaccine, but I think that’s a strong case that natural immunity is pretty strong.
