they are not testing people on flights. They have health officials at the airport when folks arrive and test anyone flying in... Children under 10 dont have to get tested here but they have to quarantine

Anchor asked is it right for the nfl n nba, even tho they are using private labs to do all this testing, while there is such a issue w testing in the US.
Dr basically said "its bad optics, and cuz there is such a back log of tests. Alotta testing sites are using private labs too."
Thats basically the elephant in the room imo.

This is them clearly admitting the "move on from covid, restart/reopen the economy" strategy isnt working cuz the cases are booming and the average American on the ground is struggling. Plus its basically accepted common knowledge that trump jus doesn't care. And they have to change that narrative if trump wants to atleast have a chance to win reelection
