I was born and spent most of my life in the Southeast. This COVID shit really has made me see why people call Southern people slow. I went to visit family in SC the past week, and people down there living like Covid doesn't exist while simultaneously having a spike. The governor won't even do basic shit like require masks. He passed the buck to the county governments. My parents live in a county where masks are required in retail places. So I'm at the grocery store, and I see mad people pulling down their masks and getting close to others when they need to ask questions or say something. WTF? This country is doomed.
