These so-called experts need to get on the same page.
Too much conflicting information being spread around.
Probably why so many people aren't taking it seriously.
For example, you know how they say people should wash their hands constantly?
Yet, in the same breath, they say you should avoid touching your face?
Well, if you're constantly washing your hands............your hands should be clean right?
So what's the harm in touching your face if your hands are clean?
Are they implying that you can catch the coronavirus by touching your face?
If so, are the germs spread from hand to face............or from face to hand?
And if it's so important not to touch your face............then why aren't these experts encouraging people to wash their face as much as they wash their hands?
Again, too much conflicting information.
I agree with your premise but your example is not conflicting at all lmao
How long do you think your hands are germ free after washing them? Sounds like you want them to say “don’t touch your face unless you just washed your hands.” That makes no sense lol cause then they’d have to try and predict how long your hands were “safe,” which varies in every situation.
Exactly.
Kinda proves my point when you think about it.
To simplify things, why aren't they asking people to wash their face more?
They are
I have no idea what you’re talking about
You can wash your hands every 10 min and it’s still not a good idea to touch your face
Never heard them emphasize washing your face at all.
Just washing your hands.
Misread your post, thought you said wash your hands, my bad
I think the idea is that if you’re wearing a mask you don’t need to wash your face more. It’s really about keeping the virus away from your nose and mouth.
Well, by the same token, if you're wearing a mask all the time.....and don't need to wash your face more as a result.......then what's the risk of touching your face?
See what I'm saying?
We can debate the details all day, but we can't deny that some of these recommendations don't make sense when you actually break them down.
The risk is transferring whatever is on your hands to your mouth/nose area
