I know what you're getting at, but they rollups like this every election cycle.
Rep presidents suck, and there is typically some crisis at the end of all their times in office. Remember when Obama went into office, we were basically in the middle of a recession. You don't think they did the same kind of rollup that cycle? Of course they did. It makes all the sense in the world to compare the country after your tenure to how it was before your tenure especially when you fell like you made an improvement.
These should never just be taken at face value bc then ur subject to the perception intended by the person presenting it.

lol You can't really fully trust anything that comes from the mainsream media. They all are pushing an agenda of some sort. That said data is data. They might not put it all in full context, but the data he's presenting isn't a lie.
They cherry pick the metrics. For example:
-Consumer debt is all time high
-Middle class shrinking/lower class growing
-U.S. home purchases down
-Gas/groceries all time highs
-average hourly earnings vs inflation?
U can literally make the case for the exact opposite with graphs and say "the data is the data" except one year was in the middle of a global pandemic lockdown and the other year is 4 years after "recovery"

Again, this is just standard operating procedure. It's nothing particularly novel for that clip. CNN is pushing for Biden. Of course they are only going to tell you the good if they are trying to sell you on that. The right wing stations do the same thing. This is what happens when you don't have any truly independent media in the mainstream.

lol Well the answer to your initial question is "the majority of people who vote." Most people get caught up in their own echo chamber and vote based on what they hear in it.
