Here's the thing though, you're asking for things that specifically impact only Black people when there is nothing in this country that when it is designed to hurt, only hurt one demographic.

The point that I'm making is that you're looking for a gotcha trying to find something that is only putting Black people down when in this country, when shit is bad for one demographic, it is assuredly also bad for other demographics too.

So in essence, you aren't looking for anything that only impacts one demographic because nothing is designed to do that.

Nothing.
That wasn't a gotcha, I legit wanted to know. Those two points have nothing on the crack epidemic, J. Edgar Hoover's run (FBI but still targeted Black ppl plus he served under multiple presidents that could've curbed his bullshit) and every president that kept slavery legal for almost 100 years. Getting mad at Black ppl for not voting out Trump is an insult to our voting power. At worst, he's a fake ass cartoon supervillain that can't keep his dick in his pants. I'm not educated enough on politics to properly criticize Democrats, but their failure to recognize issues in their own party is more problematic than a socially inept sex addict that wants to take America back to the 50s.

I still think blaming racism and sexism is lazy and simplistic thinking. Are they factors? Sure. They probably were when she won her Senate spot and when she was put on the Biden ticket as VP, yet she still won in both cases.

I really think the bigger factor here is that she is tied to an administration that isn't popular and she never really separated herself from Biden. She didn't lose the Muslim/Arab vote. Biden did, but she didn't do or say anything to get it back. When it came to the few policy-based attacks the Trump side launched against her, they were all related to Biden's agenda. She didn't do a good job of showing how her agenda would be different. So, none of the people that were unhappy with Biden had any real reason to vote for her. The numbers pretty much prove that. Trump didn't win because he pulled in a bunch of extra people compared to last election. Kamala lost because she couldn't pull in everyone that was on their side last election. It doesn't make a lot of sense to say that Americans were willing to vote for Kamala as VP under an old man with one foot in the grave, but weren't willing to vote for her as president because racism and sexism.

The Dems basically lost this election when they chose not to primary Biden and just cheated to keep him on. Had Kamala gone through the primary process and won the support of the party, she might have fared better. Or, someone else might have won out and they would have had more support going into the election because they would have actually energized the base.

If we're going to blame racism and sexism than it should be targeted at all the people that voted for Trump not the people who simply chose not to vote for Kamal.

It’s one of the big reasons President Obama was a 2 term back to back President , you have to be strong on border security ,it takes away a strong talking point from Republicans . It’s a reason Trump killed the border deal cause it’s a issue that drives Republicans to the polls to vote

Huh? Immigration was the least popular issue according to exit polls and all the data we have. NO ONE CARES ABOUT THE fucking BORDER!!!! Joe Biden brought the shit up randomly in 2023 for zero fucking reason because he wanted to work with the Rs who didn't want to work with him.

The majority including republicans support a pathway to citizenship.

Also i want to put this to bed, Trump did not increase his latino vote share, you can look at the numbers. The Democrats voter base decreased for the democrats and stayed home so it looks like his support increased.

reparations up and down the ballot or just for president?

Your question.. ill speak for myself. If there are two choices.. or even three. Im voting for the one whos policies are the closest aligned to the shit I would like to see put in place and who will do the least amount of damage AND have a realistic shot at actually winning.

I live in reality and try to be pragmatic about the choices I make. No such thing as a perfect candidate thats gonna check ALL the boxes
Man look, I voted the whole ballot just like I do every time except president. I haven't voted president the last 3, no the last 2 times, I actually did vote for Hillary "to keep Trump out" with y'all. It failed and that was the last time I ever voted against anything. I'm voting for something or not at all

Every black person should adopt this mentality ASAP

Again for the millionth time the Republicans and Trump don't hold the mantle for "doing the least damage" this time around. That's the perception from 2016 and 2020 that doesn't apply in 2024. The Democrat policies are in fact doing the most damage despite Trump's dictator rhetoric

It's like in wrestling if you watched way you back when Hitman Hart came into Survivor Series against Stone Cold as the good guy and left the villain, getting booed because he played dirty. That's the Democrats in 2024.

Real shit, Stone Cold was Donald Trump like and Bret Hart had the wholesome background like Kamala. But they switched roles after that match

It was Wrestlemania, and it was more so about Austin not tapping to the Sharpshooter while bleeding out and Bret not letting go of the hold showing poor sportsmanship. It actually makes even more sense... Trump with all his bullshit never gave up and stuck to his plan while Kamala kept ineffectively attacking him with no plan of her own.

When the truth is stranger than fiction.
