I mean it’s time to call it like it is. Trumps initial success came off the reaction of 8 years of a black man as the president. Instead of the Dems building a viable alternative to the status quo that had a broader appeal they put all their focus into getting Trump out in 2020 with the Biden/Harris ticket. A perfect storm at the time. However after figuring out way too late that Biden wasn’t going to get it done Kamala was thrust out there. It’s a shitty feeling but it is what it is the people weren’t going for this as much as many of us wanted to believe. Hopefully this does force the Dems to address these issues cuz this L was four years in the making looking back now.
You are talking about looking back and Dems addressing things while still not even understanding Trumps initial success way back. It wasn't bc we had a black president. It is because people got sick of the status quo. Constant war, politicians getting rich, etc etc. Trump won on populism, not racism.
