Yup especially when City and Liverpool are still playing and putting points on the board... Can't be seen to be too far behind even if it's game advantage.

There's an old saying: "points on the board are better than games in hand"

Case in point, spurs got some games in hand over 4th place arsenal and if they win at least 2 then they definitely leapfrog everyone (including united and bar the title contenders) into that 4th spot... Problem is now the onus and ultimately pressure is on them to actually WIN those 2 out of 3 games
