I don't think this weekend's games will happen... Boxing day will be a doubt too

Looking more and more likely that Leicester v Spurs won't happen tonight as Leicester allegedly have 9 players out with coronavirus
Everton is heading down to London now. They said the game is still on but who knows.

Crazy that players still jump into the crowd to celebrate...
That shit is so stupid to me. Everytime I see it I'm puzzled.
I remember Jamaica played some team in the states and afterwards were taking pics and hugging fans and immejiately after a couple of them caught it(cordova-reid I think). Before covid I didn't want people touching me, these man just doing whatever like once you caught it that ain't 2 weeks out.....forever if you got respiratory issues.

I was listening to BBC radio 5 online last night and they said it was absolutely ridiculous to postpone a match within 2-3 hours before kick off (in reference to Burnley vs Watford) because it's the fans that suffer having made the trip, some paying for overnight stay etc.

My thoughts on this is that there needs to be a reasonable cut off point (maybe 6 hours) before kick off where unless something crazy happens (eg the death of a player or significant staff member like manager, team owner etc) then once it passes, you either play the match or you forfeit.

Also they can start limiting crowds to only season ticketholders for home matches and no away support.
It sucks but it's fair as all teams will still maintain home support advantage, there's less fans so better spread of social distancing measures can happen and we don't revert to closed doors which is the worst

I'm out the loop but how's the public's situation with the virus?

Mixed bag. I'm hearing lots of people are either getting the booster shot or if they ask for it there's significant delays.

Equally no one is trying to have Xmas cancelled so lots of folks are WFH, but then there's not much of social distancing or stopping Xmas parties, going out to eat etc going on either

^^ 😂 at the "girl" around 50 secs Mark!

Big time and some of the pissed up fans balancing a pie in one hand and a pint in the other look like they are inbread with their cousins so you know they dont give a fck about following COVID guidelines lol allow jumping into that petri dish...

Nat Phillips is in the transfer market to leave Liverpool in pursuit of more playing time and subject to agreement of fees.

Rumours are Liverpool could accept £10m... The Athletic are quoting £15m
If that's the case, then bargain!

West ham is the likely destination but if I'm Newcastle I'd be all over that ASAP!
