Overrated? A bit but 2nd round picks are good to have because you can find real gems there for very cheap

although this is only 13 players out of 150 so...it’s not all that likely

That's about a %10 chance of success.

Also

Eric Paschall 4 years in college
Nicholas Claxton 2 years in college
Jevon Carter 4 years in college
Bruce Brown 2 years in college
Devonte Graham 4 years in college
Jalen Brunson 3 years in college
Dillon Brooks 3 years in college
Malcom Brogdon 4 years in college

Yes, there are some gems but rare gems. It appears that if you don't have lottery talent these guys need to stay in school longer or focus on the d-league before thinking about making the leap to the NBA. Some teams are better than others at developing players so they make the most out of their picks.

Just finished the game, and I think I have to agree with @Dwayne . He “brought the ball up” more than usual in this game, but he was at his normal level of “Point Zion”.

Zion could have had 50 in this game, missed so many easy shots at the basket.

Adams was amazing against Embiid. Locked him up.

Dwight Howard, lol.
But he....

Glad you enjoyed the game family

Barrett’s percentage from the stripe has jumped from 61.4 percent last year to 73.6 percent this season. He was fouled on a 3-point attempt and calmly sank all three freebies to tie the score with 37.0 seconds remaining in regulation in Friday’s overtime win over the Grizzlies. “I’ve been watching it all year. And I think his confidence is coming from all the extra time that he’s putting in,” Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau said of Barrett after the game. “I think he’s showing his growth and maturity. He didn’t get rattled. Things weren’t going our way. Just stay the course, fought his way through it.”

Barret won that game. Kept hitting big shot after big shot, including creating that 3 point foul. He got a mfer off his feet and jumped right into him, hit 3 free throws. Then at the very end of regulation, got the rebound off a missed free throw, raced down and tied the game.

The maturity RJ has shown from game 1 of this season till now has been incredible.

So fulfulling to see a young player literally get better in front of your eyes.
