The asik deal is nothing like Adams deal. They resigned him because AD didn't want to play the 5. Did they over pay? Absolutely. But those two situations are vastly different imo.

The asik deal is nothing like Adams deal. They resigned him because AD didn't want to play the 5. Did they over pay? Absolutely. But those two situations are vastly different imo.

It's based on how Griffin view the center position. Griff also cares a ton about "good guys " to build culture and has shown to overpay and over value church boys.
