Don't the new Champions League rules still basically cheat to keep the money makers in, and exclude smaller clubs. They reserved 2 spots to put in teams that finish between 5-7 in their league, that are usually good. Like if Premier League ended today 7th place Liverpool would go to CL, and 5th place West Ham wouldn't.

That's why I'm like CL isn't any better than the Super League. They just try to hide it, and the SL doesn't.

If you look back a few pages you will see more views and reasons behind it...

But one of the main ones (for me) was the EPL makes alot of money and that money trickles down the English Football League pyramid, right down to our grassroots football, for kids and community clubs etc... In fact that money has kept tons of EFL clubs afloat during the pandemic...

If United, Chelsea, City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs left the EPL, then that money will be drastically cut and god knows what will happen to the EFL clubs... Like @Blue_London said, alot of Championship clubs arnt sustainable, so they rely on that pyramid money...

The EPL and the other EPL clubs arnt outraged due to the kindness of their heart, like they really care about grassroots football and other EFL clubs, its because their pockets are being hit...

And all this during a pandemic when people are struggling is just really sleazy...

Hundreds of different teams can qualify for CL while only 15? Can join the SL how on earth is that comparable?
Under the Swiss model arsenal and spurs will qualify for the champions League even though one team is 10th.

That gives them an advantage over an Everton in the transfer market and allows them to attract better players even though they could be performing better than both teams for 3 plus years in the league

I misunderstood then. I thought the teams were going to remain in their domestic leagues, and play in the Super League mid-week. If that's the situation, what you talked about isn't a problem, right?

He in my top 5 Nigerian ballers ever
True baller
The irony is he is not that well regarded by Nigerians (the ones that are not Chelsea fans). For some reason, The National team held on to this crazy hope that Mikel was an attacking player. I think Mourinho once said “Nigeria lost a great 6 to get a bad 10.” Very underwhelming most of the time for Nigeria.
