I don't understand this signing...

Arsenal spent £27m on the guy to then not play him and send him back on loan to the club he came from and then more recently Nice in Jan 2021.

Now he's going on loan again next season to Marseille?

What the fuck for?! If Arteta think he ain't built for the Prem yet then why not try to loan him to a Championship team like Fulham or even one of the promoted teams eg Brentford?

What is really being gained here from this loan especially after dropping so much gwap on the kid? I knew something was funny when Arsenal and Ben White popped up...

The best option would be Newcastle. He would get the necessary PL experience.

But we have clowns in charge so nothing really makes sense.

Are u really suggesting that it's better for his development to play in the championship than Ligue 1

For one of the top teams whose objectives is to get promoted to the Premier league again... Fuck yes.

The guy comes from ligue 1 and spent most of the previous season on loan there already.

Let him come out his comfort zone. Play in another country, different pace of English game to French, understand the culture of an English dressing room... There's way more to it than Ligue 1 vs Championship

Football education and life education

Seasoned pros like Di Maria couldn't adapt to the lifestyle of Manchester/England yet this guy gonna be "chilling" in the South of France again lol

Player coming straight from Ligue 1 has taken over PL for decades. Different pace? It's the Championship we're talking about, Ligue 1 is above it on every level. He gets to play in Europe, Marseille training facilities are above anything in the Championship, the coach Sampoili is better, the project is exciting. Dressing room? Do you think this is a movie? What has the benifts of the dressing room and pace of English football helped the National team? See this is exactly why they are so overrated and never wins cause the fans are just as ignorant as the media.

And Di Maria's family were help at gunpoint at home while he was playing which did effect him and he felt that he didn't get enough support from the team after that incident.

Mans said "life education" sounding just like some colonist trying to civilce people wtf

The Championship is the hardest league to get out of in the world, period (and the richest)... A team can be top one season and bottom the next, look at Leeds and Wigan they can drop down the pyramid real quick...

The amount of games they play in the Championship is insane and at such a high standard too...

You got a mix of football playing teams coming from or aiming to reach the EPL or physical teams that have come up from the lower leagues looking to survive...

The Championship is a great football education... Look at what it did for Mount, Dean Henderson, Tomori, Reese James, Ben White, Bamford, Jack Harrison, Nketiah, Holgate and in recent years Vardy, Kane and Lingard etc

Saying that, Im always pleased to see youngsters going to European leagues to try get another football vibe, like Sancho and Bellingham for example but they arnt loans, they went there as transfers/first team players...
