Football ate itself a long time ago.

Yes you have grassroots football, but the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was making the average person think their club or the league they follow is theirs. You're living 2021 wrong if you think the club you love loves you back. It's the same trick politicians pulled on British people making them think Brexit was for the benefit of the working class when the elites at the top were the ones pulling the strings and making all the dosh.

Was Brexit a trick or just smart people manipulating stupid people for their own selfish gain?

Much like football fans. Idiots. We fought against the SL just for UEFA to remain in control and ensure they get the money and retain power. Fans didn’t win...lol

If anyone thinks I’m saying we own football...your misunderstanding.

Fans need rich owners. But they need us too...it’s that simple.

If the global fan base stopped giving a shit about football...where would it be?

Both @Blue_London and @DNB1 had valid points but we live in a world where everyone wants to be right in an argunent and the other person is wrong.

The real is that without the support of the common man there is no football business. However the game now belongs to the rich. They depend on the emotional ties of the common man to sustain their business. A Liverpool fan yesterday told me how him and his dad are season ticket holders. They hate the idea of the Super League but he said how could they give up their tickets when it's the club they love. Even if the Super League went ahead he would have kept going to Anfield because of his emotional attachment. With that type of irrational love how can the common man ever control the game? But also without that irrational love how can the rich owners have a business? It's like a toxic relationship.

I appreciate this post.

Peace & Love.

Football is all about opinions. We can’t all be right all of the time.

Speaking of toxic, Liverpool is the people club yet the area surrounding anfield could be a scene out of the wire it's just wild!
