Theres no way Pogba signs a new contract that doesn't put him way above that.

I think if given enough time and patience we can really challenge. If the board tempers their expectations for next season allow us to replicate this seasons standings. It took Pep and Klopp how long to win it? But we’re too damn impatient when the going gets tough.

His contract is 290k. If he signs a similar deal to De Gea that’s an additional 85k a week... a formidable pay rise. And he may have bonuses that can take his wages above 400k a week.
As for bonuses, in most jobs you get bonuses for doing more than your basic job...if Pogba or any player on any team hit their bonuses it’s because they and the team are performing well.
Why would I care that our players are getting paid for performing well and winning???

And as for bonuses you or I don't get appearance bonuses and neither of our bonuses total 1/4 of our pay.

Bro I can’t tell you for definite what he’ll sign..if he does sign.
But the club will have a wage structure and and I think it’s unlikely he will sign a £500k contract...given the pandemic and the fact we have a good bonus structure I really doubt it.
All teams have a bonus structure based on appearances, assists, goals etc...hate the game not the individual in terms of the bonus structure.

Sanchez's contract isn't 500k a week it gets to that coz of bonuses.
I have no problem with the concept of bonuses. My point was that Pogba is already paid more than De Gea so why would he accept the same contract

I don't like Pogba and I don't want him to sign a new contract. That's true. It's also true that if he does sign a new contract it's likely to be around 500k, as was reported last time he was gonna sign a new deal.

I’m talking basic wage. De Gea basic wage makes him the highest paid player in the league. De Gea can earn more than that if he hits his bonuses!
85k extra is an additional 340k a month basic wage. It’s a formidable pay rise to be in the same basic wage as De Gea!

I think Pogba should be offered a new contract. I don’t think a 400k basic wage is required. I would personally as already stated offer him a basic of something similar to Sanchez and De Gea.
That’s my opinion. I think a 50-80k pay rise is in line with what Rashford, Martial and Matic got. It’s in line with the current club wage structure.
